SOFT MATZO BALL (knaidlach)


1 cup Solomon's Coarse Matzo Meal
1 egg
2 tablespoon chicken fat, or oil
1 small onion
1 teaspoon Solomon's Chicken Flavour
1 cup boiling water
Salt and pepper to taste


Chop onion and fry in fat. Let cool, place in bowl, add coarse meal, egg, chicken flavour, water, salt and pepper. Mix well. Place in fridge for about 1 hour. With wet hands form mixture into small balls, drop into boiling chicken soup. Cook for 15 minutes.

Drop balls in boiling water and cook for 15 minutes. Drain well. It is now ready to enjoy in soup.
